Terminalis fruiticosa - Ti Leaf Plant

Terminalis fruiticosa - Ti Leaf Plant (Terminalis fruiticosa - Ti Leaf Plant)

This is one of four that I have in the front yard. It's been in the ground for around 4 years...and is kind of small for being in the ground for that long. Photo taken Sept. 30, 2013.

"Red sister" I have one that was eaten to the ground by snails..and between the mild winter, and more sun..its regrown to look a lot like the one in the photo. I had given up on it for awhile.
Another, bought in early summer is looking good so far.
Always learning, since I had thought the colorful Ti's were too tender for the bay area. It can be done. Just don't think of them as shade plants.

I grew the pink and yellow variety in Mission San Jose, Fremont for years. It would get attacked by snails every year, though.
