It's lovely, and it's Paniculata....so it will flower reliably too!

Ay up our kid ...that's very pretty Phyl, my vanille frais has only a few flowers, as its neighbour, viburnum Bodnantense has over shadowed it. Time it had a big trim methinks:-)

What have you June`s doing as my other friend June has been moaning about the very few flowers her V.frais has produced this year, which she says has been very disappointing as it was so prolific last year.

Love its shape and its very delicate shade of pink.

Maybe it's a sort that fades then Phyl, like some other types one of which is coming out this year, can't remember if it's a lace cap or mophead it's been so long since it flowered. Probably lacecap as I don't think I had any mopheads lol:-))

Stroller,
Ordered one, waiting for delivery and looking forward to next years blooms. Just what I have been looking for to brighten up a spot that I had no idea what to plant in it. Thanks for the idea. Looking forward to its arrival, wonder if it will have any flowers on it when it gets here. I shall leave it in its tub I think until next spring, do you think it will be ok it is in a 12ltr pot I am a bit wary of planting it straight away as we are so dry in the garden at the minute I thought it might be best to keep it in its pot where I can control the watering.

Carole the shape of the flowers together with the changing colour does make it a bit special.
Olive so glad you managed to get one , if you get rain at all this week I would be inclined to plant it out while the ground is still warm and it can get its roots settled in, but that is just my opinion.

thanks Stroller, will do if it rains, but it is so very dry the ground. Need lots of rain to help it get its roots down, will see how the weather goes but thanks for the advice all good :O)
