It is a pre-historic palm. It is quite slow but interesting. I bought it at The Eden Project.

yes ive been reading up on them apparantly look like palms but are not!!! lots of things surprise me in the plant world...

I have a friend who has a Cycas that is about 20inches high. He has had it for years.
