it is isn't it Bernieh? They have very sharp thorns though worse than the roses they are next too.

Sounds like the horrible Duranta shrubs I have. They have the most beautiful flowers, but absolutely horrid thorns.

Tell me about them! I've never grown these before, so had a nasty shock when I discovered the thorns on the stems. It hasn't put me off growing them, but I will be aware of them in future!!:-)
