Do you also cut them and put in vase?

A lovely collection of hollyhocks. wish I had more room!

Gorgeous, pristine condition too! Not often we see that with Hollyhocks.

Thanks and I never cut them they last longer outdoors. These one are rust free so they look much better than the older type which get rust Scottish.

That´s fine, I was just curious, if it is just my impression ;-)

I planted 3 alcea, but it was in an area the foxes kept returning to dig up night after night.
Maybe their roots attract the juiciest worms & beetles.

I cannot get Foxgloves to grow for me Mouldy but my neighbour can!

What, grow their own digiTARDIS (New Dr Who, y'see.) or grow them for you?
If it's the latter you're a crafty one.
If it's the former, well, there's an awfully long list of failed seedlings on my part (and let's not forget I've barely started as a gardener, which does not auger well for the future, I fear!) & countless varieties of bulbs, which I'm blaming the foxes & squirrels for, at this point! Lol.

Lol they grow their own, I lose lots of bulbs each year never no why but as I plant lots each year I still come out on top.

Drc, are you confessing to being a
gambler?
I swear, you're working the odds. ;-)
My wee, fat mammy always warned me about associating with such ladies. Lol.
