Thanks Moti - I can only agree!

Wow, he is lovely...

Thank you, Katarina. He is a very happy chappie!

Aw, what a lovely, happy wee boy, Mel - he's gorgeous!

Got mine coming in a couple of weeks time...he's about a year older...last year I had ducklings - which he had eating out of his hand. Well, what else are you supposed to do with a crab-stick?? lol! :))

I remember the lovely photos of your grandson. They grow up so quickly! Mine is nearly a year old now - hard to believe.

Oh...you're not wrong, Mel...time is a weird shifting-sands! Roo's coming, with his mum, to spend August with me.

So, I'm busy trying to make the fish-pond (and the whole garden!!) more child-friendly...it's a hard job - I only think about "me" out there, usually, lol!

No ducklings this year...might have to go and get a couple...

...otherwise, what's he going to do with his crab-sticks...? :)

He's a bit younger than my apprentice...a friend/neighbour's 8yr old granddaughter.
Cute as a button, both of them.

There's nothing like children!! (and I speak as an ex- Primary school teacher) They present the world through a whole different perspective.

I expect he'll need the next size of flower pot hats this year, Karen!

Oh Mel! I'd forgotten about that!

I'm going to have to be more "artistic" with the camera too, when it comes to those "au naturelle" shots...lol! :)))

He has such a lovely expression on his face and looks very, very contented.

Hallo Wildrose, it's so nice to see you again! :)

Karen - I often think of those photos of your grandson - I laughed till tears came! They summed up the whole experience of little boys exploring and finding out! And yes - you'll have to spare his blushes!

Hi Wildrose! He loves the garden - they moved there from a flat about 6 weeks ago. S-i-l took the photo and captured beautifully the joy of crawling through the grass.

He will soon be extremely fascinated with gravel and tiny stones and pebbles - much more fun than toys from any shop!

24 Jul, 2013

And tastier, too! (He already loves carpet fluff!)

25 Jul, 2013

...so...what sized flower pot, d'you reckon, Mel...? :))

26 Jul, 2013

Well - just so long as it's big enough not to get stuck! Although, as he's "been there, done that" he probably won't be interested!

27 Jul, 2013

What a gorgeous photo, Mel. He's adorable. Aren't children just wonderful!

They certainly are, Tuesdaybear. We're off to see him on Monday - his first birthday. Can't wait!

Yes - frightening isn't it lol! He's a lovely chunk, but boy is he heavy!
