very peppery taste, leaves and flowers can be eaten so I am told, but only tasted leaves too hot for my taste buds :O)

Lots of lovely plants growing well now Mouldy, you did good :O)

Thanks Olive & Surrey.
Everything is budding, so it's only a matter of patience now. Lol.

Lovely. I think nasturtiums are great, but mine always become a blackfly magnet.

I've started to spray all the plants every 3 days with garlic infused water, Melchisdec.
Seems to be doing the job, mostly.

That sounds like a good idea. I might try that.

I'd heard of folk planting garlic next to roses to deter the various flies, but forgot to plant any. Lol.
When they began to chomp on everything else I decided to crush a couple of cloves into a bucket of water, leave it a few days, then give it a go.
Forgot to strain the mix, though & bunged up the sprayer!
Lesson learned, I did it properly & carried out on the rest of the garden with a watering can.
It seems to have worked. Phew! Lol.
