Reminds me of when my father had his first car and petrol was 1/6 a gallon. lol ( for you youngsters 1 shilling and 6 pence is the same as 7 and a half pence today ) Oh dear, I feel old now lol.

That is right Blodyn, I remember my mother telling me about tanners and ha'pnies .....whoops I mean 6 & half pence coins!
