Is this an Abies we had one years ago it had the same fantastic cones....

I had this one at our other house,and just loved it..It was planted on a corner to hide a Telegraph pole..and certainly did the job..so tall,but those lovely cones were a pleasure to see...The new owners cut it down ! I still miss it when I pass by..
