I 'liked' all your pics...mostly because it is so good to have you back....some of these 'scrappy looking' things will be stunning later though! ;)

Hahaha! Thanks Karen!

I got a parcel this morning from the pond lady...just cataloguing!

It's been an eventful day...decided to bite the bullet and pour stuff into the pond to de-green it, since I haven't seen the bottom since 2010...

...so far, so good - I kinda need to know exactly where I'm putting these "scrappy looking" wee things! lol! :))

Yeah, they will do your pond a lot of good!

Going to do something with them today, but don't really know where to start...despite the fact that the pond looked as if somebody poured a barrel of lentil soup into it (dead algae) after the treatment - it's still GREEN! :(

I know! Mine is the same. I had to do it twice, but a week later it was back again. The sun is the problem. I need more floating plants. might get a lily today if there are any. I need to go to the GC to get compost as my new Hosta collection has just arrived whoop!

I've just done the same...

I've got three water-lilies in there...but, they just take such a long time to get going...trying a hydrocleys now - closer to a wild thing - might grow faster!!

See you and your hostas later! :)
