I'm going to split my daughters plant when it's finished, and bring some home as a reward for doing her garden Lol :-)

Gralew, don't split it when it finishes flowering, wait until it's dormant, round about october, and then you can divide the tubers, replant them with the top of the tubers just visible when the soil has been firmed, that way they should flower for you next year, plant them too deep, and they sulk for years, Derek.

Thanks Derek, obviously that is what is wrong with ours it has sulked for 13 years, so I will do as you say.....and keep my fingers crossed......

Hi Dottydaisy, I hope they flower for you next year, 13 years is a long sulk, lol, let us know how they get on, Derek.

What else?

See who else is growing paeonia officinalis.

See who else has plants in genus Paeonia.

This photo is of "Paeony Rubra-plena" in Homebird's garden
