one of my Wisteria has died this year, the other one had dozens of buds, all of which fell off!!!!

Thank you Ph / Anita , Paul when we planted this our son bought us two at the same time one died ,we found it was being undermined by ants !

Thanks Carole / Dd / Holly , it is lovely but Oh what a mess when it starts shedding it's flowers and then later it's leaves ,still it's worth it :o)

Ooh ants....never thought of hat although the one that died was in a pot and no real sign of ants!, I think the flowers fall off the other one because our garden is in suh a wind spot!

...that is so beautiful...I'm just pea green with envy! Wisteria grows well in southern Ontario...but my sister lives in West Central Ontario and she has some growing from seed she brought home from Italy. (long story)

I know they grow it in the botanical gardens in Ottawa!...maybe I can be as lucky? Will have to ask Shirl if her plants made it thro the winter. I planted a trumpet vine..(not nearly as divine as Wisteria) and it is starting up well after all the cold weather.
