All that blossom looks wonderful, Wells. Do you use the crab apples at all?

The smaller trees are called "Sargenti" and the apples, I call them berries, are so small that the birds eat them. They are a beautiful red. The big Crab is another kind which I do not know and also the berries small. The Cedar Waxwings particularly like them and come in droves in the fall. I think these would fall under the heading-ornamental.

I know that crab apple trees produce a wide variety of fruit. I have a John Downey, which produces quite large fruit, which - if I remember in time - I sometimes use for crab apple jelly. I love it - especially the colour. Your trees are very beautiful.

Thanks for commenting. I love corner gardens, although a bit challenging.
