Plumeria rubra - Red Plumeria Seed Pods

Should be interesting experiment.

I've grown Plumeria in the past from seed. They germinate within a few days on wet paper towels.
It's always a mystery exactly what color the plants will be from seed, though.

Yes, they're very large and have hundreds of seeds in them.

The seeds will be just grown for fun, for friends or to sell. I have lots of Plumerias (some in the ground and others in pots) my tallest one is 10ft (3.2m) tall. Out of all my plumerias the only plant which has developed seed pods is my Plumeria obtusa 'Singapore', which is the most tropical.

That is much larger than I imagined that they would be.

Yes, it's larger than seed pods I've ever had on my Plumeria trees (which I don't get very often). I think the trees which this seed pod came off of were very large. The tree's are in the ground at a friend of a friend's house.

So size is everything then!!!!

Yes, especially when they're grown in the ground. lol! :>)
