Could be Begonia metallica, Derek.

It's an Angel's Wing Begonia. There are several types of them and they flower sometimes.

Hywell, has got it, common name angels wings, botanical name Begonia coccinea, and the nearest cultivar I can find is "desiree", it is a member of the cane stemmed group of begonia's, Derek.

Its a form of begonia but I don't know which one, could it be a begonia rex?
