- bought this week, there are three sizes, this one is the middle of the collection, I shall have to have the other two sizes as well. Love the rustic look of it.

I'm loving that. Can I be rude to ask where you got them from?
21 Mar, 2013
I bought them from the garden centre last week. When I find the label I will let you know who makes them, IF I can find it. lol :O)

Thank you.

Think they were made by Gardman but just been on their website and cannot see them on there. pretty sure that is what the label said will try and find the label for you Scottish. Three different sizes too. I love it. :O)

oh Mouldy, I can hardly type for laughing, what are you like!!!Although Ice bucket is not a bad idea. Can just see me sat in the garden with a bucket of ice a bottle of red and my feet up. lol. and there are three different sizes of this - I could have one located at every bench in the garden. lol :O) thanks for the great idea. lol :O)

Very chic! I also have Hanging baskets in a similar style, what are you going to plant in it Olive?
21 Mar, 2013
Going to climb something up it - the idea was for it to be in a border I think, note I said I think, not sure what will go in the planter itself. maybe a trailing plant of some sort - probably one of the smaller clematis.I just bought it because I liked it and have not thought much about what I can put in it yet.

Look forward to seeng what you decide on ;0)

Best leave it empty, then, Olive.
That way, after you've polished off that bottle of red, YOU can use it to climb up. Lol!
21 Mar, 2013
lol :O) definitely would not support my weight Mouldy :O)

It's very cottage garden...you will definitely need all sizes, placed in the border as a group for effect? You could always put some varnish on for extra protection?
21 Mar, 2013
love it. All 3 together will look great. Look forward to them fully planted!

How lovely Olive...You shall indeed have to have the other two..:>)

I will be off again some time next week to pick up the others, I did wonder, when I bought this one, if I would like it in the garden but of course when I got it home and on the front path I was thrilled with it. Must buy the others hope they have them left at the g.c. think they will have as I cannot see many getting sold this weekend, we are forecast that much snow no one will be adventuring far at all.

I have seen Huddersfield on world news this morning....just horrible! Hopefully, we will be out of Gatwick tomorrow morning before it hits London, as they were saying it would snow there this weekend. We are flying to Gatwick this evening and staying there overnight, to fly home early tomorrow.....don't fancy being holed up in a premier inn at Gatwick!

Hope you get set off back tomorrow before it is really bad, think Leeds Bradford was closed earlier on but it is open again now. So maybe not going to be as bad as they thought earlier.

Hope not! We are about to leave the hotel. Will speak when we get home xx

Safe journey xxxx :O)

I like that planter, Barbara. As you say, it is a bit different. I like the idea of using it as an ice bucket!!! Perhaps you should put a bottle in it and plant that up lol!
22 Mar, 2013
it certainly would be a great way of using it, off to buy the other two sizes (hopefully) next week, weather permitting. Then all I have to do is find the right plants to put in them.

Thank you for going to all that bother for me. I'm sure the fancy Nancy GC nearby stocks some of their stuff. A nice excuse to pop along at some point.
22 Mar, 2013
Nice B....would suit a nice centre piece, and trailing sides...very rustic....
23 Mar, 2013
Hi Scottish they are supposed to be coming back to me on this one and hopefully letting me know suppliers in scotland.
Glad you like it Crissue, it is rather pretty, it is covered in snow this morning about 4 inches of the darned stuff. :O(
23 Mar, 2013
I was seeing it with ivy leaved pelargoniums trailing over....but not this month! ;)
23 Mar, 2013
yes I had thought of those too. lol :O)
