It is. I will try to get a better photo of it and ask if anybody knows what it is. I can remember this plant for the past 25 years so it must be an old variety.

Ooh, I'm so jealous. I never seem to get many flowers on the one I have! In fact I always seem to lose them! This is lovely!

A lovely clump you've got there Sheila. Mines are too slow off the mark. Should have flowers for Easter at this rate!

I did not mean to upset you Rose. Have a look at this link it may help you to decide if there is anything you could do better to get more flowers. I did give this one a feed of bonemeal while I was sorting out the border and planting in some new plants. Some of them don't flower till nearer Easter Scottish maybe yours is one of those. I've got another two really early flowering ones but not posted pics yet.

Found a couple just about to open their flowers today Sheila - they are tucked way in beneath a spotted laurel, so we are on the move :)
Mum came home with a couple of clumps of Snowdrop that were going to be concreted over on someones path. Not the best time to lift and plant but hopefully they had enough soil on them to not make them notice :)

I can't believe its the first of February already. Great news about your hellebore flowers. Well done your mum for saving the snowdrops. I'm sure they will survive just fine. Thanks Meanie.
