Trachycarpus fortunei in the centre, with Hydrangea quercifolia 'Ice Crystal' in front. Cercidiphyllum japonicum 'Rotfuchs' at the back and a potted Cotoneaster x suecicae 'Juliette' with variegated leaves. Perennials in all the gaps.

Thank you all! It's a struggle to do much with such a VERY small area, but I intend to become an expert on small things like Hepatica...
