Aconites

A welcome sight

They are very cheerful. We have lots of them around big leaf maple base and our housekeeper has to send me pictures of them because they bloom when we are not there.
Thanks for posting picture of these Amy. They are such lovely little flowers.

I'm glad you enjoyed seeing them Klahanie / Sticki we have a lot of these happily spreading under and between the shrubs I like to see them on a sunny day when they open their petals to face the sun , looks as if I'll be waiting for some time with our weather !

Thanks all , Yes Paul they are hardy one of the first to appear in January they spread themselves over time , I wonder what happened to yours Janey ? they do like to be left undisturbed around shrubs etc.

Oh I am pleased for you Gill ,they are little treasures ,they will spread in time in fact I find it amazing that we have them growing some distance from the original plants ,I wonder if the squirrels dig them up and transfer the bulbs or mice !

I've afeeling I may have weeded them out Amy.....:((

You could well have done Janey ,once the leaves have died down it's so easy to plant other plants in the gap left by them :o(
