The resort we are staying in has beautiful grounds and to me unknown and exotic flora. This is one of them.

You're welcome. There's yellow, gold and pinkish colored flowering varieties, also.

It's the very commonly grown Tecomaria compensis (Cape Honeysuckle). Fall - Spring is when it blooms best in Southern California.
