Compost Tea

Compost tea or "poop soup"...not trying to be vulgar but I got carried away making my brew and added organic fertilizer. GASP! The aroma! Anyone know if I need to worry about that? The idea is that with this seeped tea I should be able to strain it, dilute it and then spray it directly onto my plants as a repellent. I'm wondering if the fertilizer will cause harm to the plant's leaves.
So what ended up happening to this delicious soup?
