I hadn't come across this one before - simply lovely, and straight into favourites.

It does resemble the colours of Blackberry and apple,Gattina, and as that is a fav crumble of mine,I'm even more fond of it!.......Thanks DD,could you split one to increase the plant,do you think?......glad you also like it TT,Sheibub and Sheilar.

You've inspired me - I've just gone and got a box of Bramley and Bramble out of the freezer for tonight's pudding! If anyone (specially you, Julia) manages to divide this successfully, could you keep me in mind, please? Pretty please, you lovely people! (smarm, smarm)

Thank you so much! Pasta's very fattening you know! (only joking) I love the one with anchovies. Is it the puttanesca recipe with olives as well? Yummie!

Hve you tried Puttenesca pasta J? The rough translation is tarts spaghetti! now what does that tell you? Its supposed to be very tasty though. I like blackberry and apple too. (The plant and the crumble)

It's called "prostitutes' pasta", because it takes about as long to prepare as a brief session with one of these "ladies of the night". The original "Wham, bam, thank you Ma'am - and your dinner's ready".

12 Nov, 2012

That is the pasta you are supposed to use in this recipe.....PL and Gattina.Couldn't buy it,sadly.

Ho,ho Gattina, dont you think 'tarts spaghetti' sounds so much nicer?? I wish the tart would cook it for me too..lol. My recipe is only good old spaghetti J. In one of Nigellas books I think.
