Lovely!

Mine is loving the heat of my woodburner in the living room and putting out another flower stem.

Meanie:

Milky:

That's great! They like full sun and heat. My plant has about 3 dozen flowers on it right now (it in too much shade). The millions of large ones around town, in full sun have 60 or more flowers.

So, so sorry! I didn't mean to rain on your parade.

aawwww! LOL! :>)

At least your Bird-of-Paradise is blooming. I know it can be a challenge to get one to bloom in your climate.

8 Nov, 2012

Second flower spike emerged (or I noticed it) yesterday! Going to be good. I'll soon be up to 36!!!!!!!!

13 Nov, 2012

36 what, flowers?

13 Nov, 2012

Absolutely! I'm on a roll now and will soon have three dozen on mine too!

13 Nov, 2012

Well, since I posted this pics many more flowers have come up. lol! I'll have to get a photo of the whole plant soon.

The area of my plant where I removed several dozen leaves, the leaves all grew back this summer and there's many flower in the same spot. I need to cut them back out again. I took a pics of the many flower in the area back on Halloween.

You're plant sounds like it's on a roll.

13 Nov, 2012

Hope springs eternal! Odds are though that two or three spikes are the best that I can realistically hope for.

13 Nov, 2012

I figured! lol! :>)

Plants in pots tend to bloom less than the ones in the ground. It doesn't grow as big in a pot, either.
