Itea virginica 'Henry's Garnet'

I like plants with bright fall color and this one is always pretty in fall with either red or purple-red color that lasts a long time.

I notice it too, not sure why it looks that way. The color of the photo is a bit off anyways I think, the leaves really look more reddish-purple. I'm going to try to take another picture to see if it happens again.
