Justicia aurea - Yellow Jacobinia

"Punky" looking darlings. I have never seen one .Are there different blooms than yellow? They are interesting.
How long the bloom last?

I nearly bought one the other day. Opted not to as we are heading to winter now.............

There's different species which have different color flowers.

The blooms last a couple of weeks. However, there's many buds on each plant.

Winter! It's to darned hot to think about winter! We still have 3 more months of summer, yet! LOL! :>)

This is a pretty common plant. It only blooms in late summer and fall. The flowers don't last very long, though.

The larger the plant, the longer they flower.
