Anaphalis triplinervis

By Kasy

Anaphalis triplinervis (Anaphalis triplinervis)

or if you prefer common name - triple-nerved pearly everlasting.
Very unusual plant, remember seeing it for the first and only time in a garden in winter 2008 in RHS Hyde Hall. Lovely seedheads.
So when I saw they are available from a supplier - immediatelly ordered a tray and bought myself one.

Triple nerved? Where did it get its name? Is it good for those who have weak nerves, Kasia? :)))
These are the buds, aren´t they?

I think it's got its name from three nerves visible on a leaf.
Maybe I can make a tea from its leaves Katarina and ask someone with weak nerves to drink it? lol.
Yes - they are the flower buds. Picture taken few days ago, will check what they look like tomorrow:)

not chances of being huge in this case:) growing in a pot, and it's quite easy to propagate by division. already have few babies off it;-)
