Actaea Berries

They look nice and glossy Amy, do the birds go for them?

I was just going to ask the same question Amy they look so attractive I wouldnt think the birds could resist them;0)

Janey / Carole - No I don't think they do eat them I've never seen the berries disappear perhaps they are poisonous !

Well at least if the birds can't eat them you can enjoy those gorgeous glistening berries;0)

If this is like the actaea I have they are poisonous. beautiful but not edible. Check out my pic for my comment on the symptoms of consumption of these berries. check out the white actaea ... white berries with a black spot...common name "doll's eyes"...also poisonous.
