The rainbow plumeria my previous neighbor gave me a month ago is starting to bloom. It was a large cutting my previous neighbor started in the ground last year. It was pulled out and I put into a pot for now. It is so large it really needs to be put back into the ground. This variety has super sweet fragrant flowers! Photo taken July 31, 2012.

It has some old flower spikes from last year and many new flower spikes from this year.
My former neighbor has dozens of plumeria trees in his yard. I got another same plumeria for my father.
