Verbena & Coleus

Fantastic! Wowo and sunny too..been rainignhere on and off all day :( again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They look great together. What a disappointing lack of colour some of us have had this year :(

That's a combination with the WOW factor.

I was thinking of a Coleus bed as I thought they would give a similar effect of colour as a Heuchera bed? but did not get around to it. Are they reliable outside Pimpernel?

They are excellent outside Denise I remember masses of these planted by the parks departments when I was a Kid. Good in sun or semi-shade and easy to take cuttings off to re-propagate. Make good house plants too. There are loads of new varieties and shades.

I think they are lovely plants,Pimms..and thought much the same,but never got round to it either..so easy to take cuttings ,as you say,or grow from seed...you can keep them going indefinitely..I had some as houseplants for a long time..

I took a photo earlier..of coleus and heuchera spotlight mixed together...I wasn't sure it worked. I will post it later see what you think.
