This is a Maple, not sure of the name, put in pot 10-12 years ago, keep it well pruned

That is stunning....I think it could be Acer shirasawanum 'Aureum'. I have a small one of these - in a similar sized pot....mmmm I wonder :))

That's interesting I shall look it up, I have never known what the name of the tree may be, bought from a car boot sale----£3.50 :-)))))

ah, that sounds a bit familiar!!! i think there are quite a few of us who have succumbed to that, and plants have been known to jump into trolleys all by themselves!!!??
