Daylily cross - Amethyst Reflections X Unk

Another seedling from this cross. This 6" double is different because the petals are flat and there is a red eye. It is also a bicolour- the sepals are orange and curled. This set of crosses is becoming the main focal point of my breeding program.

My biggest problem with this group is that they are all pod infertile, but they are pollen fertile - similar to Free Wheelin'.

Love the deep colour
I have just done a cross with Lurch (dad) and Octopus hugs (mum) and I have a seed pod , I did try the other way round but nothing, intresting to read about the pollen fertile etc

You should have an interesting cross. I have found Dan Hansen is the best at mentioning fertility, and if I am thinking of buying one of his, I go to the 'Ladybug Daylilies' site where he makes a note of it.
