Iris Chrysographes

This iris is so dark, and it is easy to grow, although it has taken a couple of years to establish. It likes moisture...bit like a Sibirica, but much shorter in stature. I really love this one.

yes, thanks Carole, you only see the true colour when it is so lit. Most of the time it looks jet black.
