These lovely deep pink Poppies have been flowering for several days on the allotment I share with my friend Gerry.

They are, aren't they? There is a narrow bed in front of the shed on the allotment that is packed with these Poppies this year. Where the seed came from I've no idea as I grew potatoes there last year & after digging the up I planted some peanuts in their place. There was not one single Poppy on this bed last year not in any close by.
