A.Titch recommended someone (forget who) to plant it in her wild meadow to keep her grass down so it is bound to work Suey!! :o)

thanks Pimpernel and Neellan.i bought some ragged robin, and oxeye daisies.i will get some more yellow rattle seed of the internet to sow this year.the only downside i have found was the poor dead baby shrew i found tonight.i suppose thats what comes with wildlife gardens.:0((

Once the Ox-eye daisies flower, Suey, you will always have them in the garden . . . mine get EVERYWHERE(!) but they are easy enough to pull out if they're in the "wrong" place. Ragged robin is very pretty, isn't it, and wild patches are fun when they work.

I love Oxeye daises,I am glad you have told me that.I tried to have a wild patch in my old garden,it never worked.I put loads of wildflower plug plants in to no avail.hopefully this garden will be different.

It will Suey... Smile every time you go into your garden and it will smile back. Between the two of you there will be a happy compromise..eventually.

LOVE YOUR DOG, HE IS BEAUTIFUL. I THINK I WILL TRY THAT TOO. RATTLE SEED. I have tried so many times to get wild flowers going. We have plenty of space to do it but I have not had good luck. I will try again near the rock where the water comes down. Keep posting if you get some.
