Commelina (dayflower)

Is this hardy Motinot? I grew some a few years ago but they never survived the winter, very pretty, remind me very much of tradescantia, love the colour :-)

I think they are similar Simbad....They have come back 3 years now...They are in a high raised bed, behind a retaining wall, so get plenty of shelter...:>)

I thought it was a tradescantia, lovely blue.

Tradescantias belong to the Commelina family, i believe...:>)
