Dwarf Lilac ?Palibin?

Dwarf Lilac ?Palibin? (Syringa Palibin (dwarf))

I got this from the 'rescue me' table at the nursery. I think it is Palibin but it wasn't labelled. It works well as a 'Fairy Tree' beside Hobbit Hill House.

All the garden is looking good Karen, lots of colour now coming in. I love the arches they are going to be amazing when they are covered. Very pretty and has been well worth all your hard work out there.

The dwarf Lilacs are so useful in the garden.

I could use a dwarf one instead of the rather huge one that I have - nice!

Yes, only £1! :)

That was a bargain. I paid £9.99 for one from a well known nursery and it died. I am really pleased for you and it.

Yes SG, obviously it is not the best specimen in the world or it wouldn't have been on the bargain table, but I am hopeful it will improve with lots of water and food!

Our dwarf lilac forgot to flower this year!!

Lilacs are such tricky things aren't they...moody as my friend once said. And what is the point of a lilac that doesn't flower?.....to train a clematis up!
