This was a lovely old Chestnut tree near my home, one of a pair on each corner. it was blown over one night in gale force winds couple years ago, when the tree chaps came to take it away they were slicing it up, i asked if i could have a piece, the young man gave me a lovely piece bout 6 inches thick. The birds now use it as a table x

That's a lovely idea .. and a nice reminder of such a big old tree
