Yes Hywel, although I have to say this is the first time I've ever noticed them myself. This poor plant is usually tucked away in a corner so maybe I've just never paid enough attention. Now the Pilea is sitting out in plain view so I can admire it. It's covered in these little creamy white puffs.

I like this plant! It does well as a ground cover in a shady spot here in San Diego.

Yes I'm now looking at this old favourite with new eyes, Andy. I think it could do with some spreading around in some shady spots.
