Thanks Milky, I asked the lady that owns this tree for seeds last autumn....I have two little plants now. Wait until I post pics of the flowers!!!!!!!

It's a beautiful tree with beautifyl bright orange/red flowers Crissue....I did a double take while driving.

Not wild here but I've seen it in a few gardens lately. I have one in the garden and one in a pot.

The tree has a strong propensity to naturalize. It produces millions of seeds.

There's huge stands of them in Balboa Park. I'll have to get some photos, as they should be blooming now.
