It didn't show up real well in the picture but the flowering russian olives lit up as the sun was going down. They smell really good this time of year but they are invasive plants.

You know, Rkwright, these sunset photos have very soft pinky-grey colours. Remind me an old painting my grandmother had. It was a village at the bank of a the river, and sky and river had these colours. Something from my childhood...thank you :)

Sounds like a scenic place! I think the sky looked different last night because of the way rain and clouds were passing through around sunset, it really made a colorful sky.
