No I didn't I had had two with my breakfast just went for a walk and a look around and just sat up there for a little while, I took the pictures on my mobile phone. I didn't even have my camera with me. lol :o) it has been quite a nice day here with just an odd shower or two in between all the sunshine.

Thank goodness. We had a good one also. No rain, but lots of sunshine. I went and got a Laburnum for the arches and some more moisture loving plants for the damper areas of the garden...not the pond this time as that area is now full up! I found this lovely little plant...a cushion forming low growing one, that I'd never heard of, with lovely blue flowers....name is Chaenorhinum origanifolium 'Blue Dream'. I'd never heard of it before, but it's going to be really useful in the wet parts as it likes a damp soil. So anyway, I got four of them as they are small, and a couple of pink alpine asters for border edging, and two lovely Digitalis Lutea for the woodland area, which is coming on great now. Everything is so late though...buds only just starting to form on Blue Poppies....very late.

They sound nice and bonus if they like wet ground. Will check it out later on got to cut some grass this morning and get ready for Paul's electric fence to go up. So I shall be busy got to try and get it done we are forecast rain this afternoon. Everything is late down here too. After saying that the stuff that flowers later on in the summer is growing really fast in the big border, it is almost full now with greenery, I like it when I cannot see any of the soil through the plants. lol.

Yes, me too. haven't got to that stage yet. Did you see my comment about the aster btw? I think I found the one you have with the sprays of pale flowers. It has lovely dark purple foliage. Very pleased I found it! :)) The Nursery I got it at was burgled this week and the boys who run it have just invested a lot of money expanding....but no customers for about a month. They are tearing their hair out...he told me yesterday they have 3 weeks for business to pick up or they will have to close. I wish I could do something to help them.....they are lovely people and the nursery is in a gorgeous spot, right on the edge of a steep valley down to a stream. There's even a thatched cottage there and horses etc...I love going there. :((

Meant to ask, have you chosen your cushion yet...!!

Not yet Crissue - lol. I think it is too wet for cushions just yet, we had heavy rain again last evening. I only put the cusions out when it is going to be dry for a good length of time. I hate it when they are out in out in. lol.

Big supprise today>>>we're enjoying weather in the 70's now that was a treat...

re Cushion: I just wondered whether you decided on a new one, for your new seat..lol...

yes I shall have a new one when I get the opportunity to go and look for one. I have no idea what colour I shall choose though, will have to have a look on the internet and see what is on offer for it. We have been the same sort of temperature here, but not a lot of sunshine, quite cloudy, sun only breaking through at odd times. Very muggy heat but better than the rain, we had heavy rain last evening. I planted two bushes up today and when I dug the hole to put them in it was stood inches deep in water and that was 8/9 inches down in the borders.
