Wonderful perfume on Daphne

It's a beauty. Which Daphne is this, Kath?
I can just imagine the scent of it!

In dont know Wilma I got this many yrs ago for Mothers day gift but it never had a name .

If I could bottle the perfume I would be rich :)

This is one of my favourite plants in my garden. The perfume is delicious! The one I've got must be an early flowering variety - it's going over now:o(

That is beautiful! How long have you had that daphne? I am almost certain it is Daphne tangutica, most daphnes have a sweet/spicy scent but Daphne tangutica and Daphne retusa have a scent similar to jasmine or perfume. There's nothing quite like the perfume of daphnes in the spring!

I used to pass a couple of bushes of Daphne on my way downtown many years ago & the scent was delicious! The flowers were also delightful, just like yours!
