Thanks for that stickitoffee and motinot as far as the clematis is concerned i didnt cut it back at all last year and it is showing its thank. Its the best flowering i have had from it so i am very happy.

Did you spread out the clematis as it grew buds ?

No Terratoonie just the normal wires and it has grown that way. looks great considering x
