Tiarella cordifolia 'Iron Butterfly' - 2012 (Tiarella cordifolia)

Tiarellas are useful as they will grow in dry shade. This one has the added attraction of markings on the leaves as they mature

SS - probably at its maximum height but I only bought it last year so I hope it's going to bulk up a bit

I do like the spires of tiny white flowers. Didn't know it did dry shade. I got two unlabelled plants last year, I may move one of them. Do you know if they self seed?

Smorgie - it was only planted last autumn so it hasn't had a chance to set seed yet. I also improved the soil with garden compost so hopefully it won't the position too dry
