This area had a small patch of Lily of the Valley growing when I moved here in 1995. A few years and it had taken over the main part of this garden. I had tried in recent years to control it as the newly dug soil in this pic shows but in no time it was back !

Thanx Stickitoffee, I bought the acer about 15 yrs ago for £20 - it gets better every year with a bit of shaping - one of my best buys !
