Eastern Redbud with Chinese redbud

The difference between the flowers might be hard to see in this picture but the C. chinensis 'Don Egolf' has darker colored flowers that are larger in bud and flower size. If you have never seen a C. chinensis in full bloom it is spectacular. The only downside to Cercis chinensis is that it is tender here.
