I really am Sandra , I have been lifting the turve at either side of the pond and planting Aubretia and other little rockery plants, its really funny as Dovey kept flying down onto the big rock just sat watching me, he is so tame and is a permanent feature in the garden along with his mate lovey, is it Tghomas's birthday party tomorrow? hope you all have a lovely day and the weather is kind;0))

It's the same in our garden Carole , we have a pair of doves like yours , what amuses me is the way the blackbirds come straight at me when I go outside to tell me the food dish is empty and then they follow me to the dish while I put some more in for them .. once I've put some more in the robins arrive and all kinds of other birds arrive , how do they know ? they must tell each other ...LOL...

Amy it is as though the birds know its feeding time they all appear here too as soon as I go out in the garden , Jungle Tom Toms lol
Thanks Gee its one of my favourite areas, just wish We had made the pond a bit larger so it would attract more wildlife, but dont think OH will take kindly to enlarging it lol

Send me a map and I'll direct some ducks to your pond, PP! They woke me up at 6.30 this morning, having a squabble in the garden, mother to be and two followers. I went out to give them some food (to shut them up!) and mother even had a go at me :)

lol Gee if you do redirect your Ducks they will jave to queue up one at a time for a dip its that small! I always feel sorry for the female ducks at mating time there seems to be at least three suitors for each female and lots of fighting between them!!
