Five months on - the foliage had all gone brown, so I thought I might have killed it with wrong type of compost, if nothing else. But looked closely and saw some fresh green - not much, but hope that it's a sign that at least one plant''s not given up yet

yes, that surprised me very much; I don't normally get that close, and can't remember why I did this time - but glad I did, and fingers crossed.
