Yes, SBG, this does look like my mystery plant but mine hasn't developed the buds yet. I notice also, that yours has a little flower thing right at the tip too.

Yes they look like tiny white flowers. but i wonder if its nectaries. up close they dont seem to have too much definition. perhaps aborted flowers? time will tell. I am watching this with interest as the flowers are meant to be a dark colour arent they?

I've checked it again today and it just looks the same (I dunno why I expected it to look any different from yesterday!!!lol) I'll keep you updated if and when it develops
