Already? That must be a very early variety. Rhodos somehow get off with having candy colours, don't they? Pretty in pink.

yes Oji, in fact it has been out for over a week, the its about 3 foot tall and has flowers all over it, it was early last year too!

Thank you Junna, perhaps I should have taken a picture of the whole shrub, but that's harder to photo! Rhododendrons remind me of where I grew up, nearby was Woburn Abbey that has masses of them.

Hope not! This one is in the front garden, I think it may be the best it has been so far, it's 5 years old I think, always flowers early.

That is lovely Sticki...there are quite a few in flower around here and strangely enough they are all pale pinks. Mines are all full of buds but not anywhere near ready to flower either!
